JOB PURPOSE

The materials management analyst ensures that the Company's inventory is up to date and sufficient to satisfy any project demand, distributing material in a timely and precise manner and leading to a smooth flow of goods in supply chain.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Assists in coordinating and scheduling on-time delivery of parts by following established schedules and procedures.

• Assists with audits and other information analysis from multiple sources to determine accuracy relative to delivery schedules, inventory levels, requirements, etc.

• Assists with the reconciliation of discrepancies in information to mitigate or minimise disruptions in the supply chain.

• Maintains and updates information systems and materials management information toward the operations.

• Coordinates the flow of materials from the reception to the distribution to the end user.

• Suggests potential solutions to resolve further problems affecting the supply chain.

• Releases orders on time to ensure the continuity of operations.

• Ensure the system is accurately updated with all warehouses’ transactions.

• Responsible for maintaining the targeted inventory levels.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, material management or equivalent.

Competencies:

• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Results-orientated with the ability to plan and deliver against deadlines.

• Excellent analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to undertake complex analysis to create information and interpret data and trends.

Experience: 0-3 years of experience in related job roles.

Languages: Excellent communication skills in English (oral and written).
