Job Purpose

Responsible for the Contracting and Budgeting of TMS for any procurement, financial, budgeting, contracting, business planning and operational planning.

Key Accountabilities & Working Relationships

• Coordinate and Managing development of contracts as per the requirements of the TMS Department.

• Support the procurement process in accordance with IMI procedures.

• Support the development of the technical and commercial scope for the service or equipment intended to be procured.

• Support in releasing and reviewing RFI, PRs and POs.

• Follow up the procurement process and update the proponent of the process status in due course.

• Be part of the bids evaluation process until awarding and signing the contracts.

• Support to achieve ensure compliance with the Departmental KPIs.

• keep records and archives of all correspondence and documentation related to contracts of Marine Operations.

• Handle and coordinate Departmental different administrative tasks.

• Support in developing the yearly departmental budget and follow up the compliance with it.

• Support in financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking.

• Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support.

• Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews.

• Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements.

Who we are looking for

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in law or in Business Administration or Finance or Accounting or Economic or equivalent.

Competencies

• Understanding of Health and Safety practices.

• Excellent team working skills.

• Excellent Computer Skills in MS Office.

• Negotiation skills.

• Presentation skills.

• Analytical and problem-solving skills.

Experience

• At least 3-6 years of relevant experience.

• Preferred having experience in procurement and contracting.

• Having worked in shipyards in ports is a plus.

Languages

• Excellent English communication Skills (verbal and writing).
