Job Purpose
The role holder is responsible for Ensuring the successful delivery of the project through effective time management, knowledge transfer, and coordination between functional groups. Additionally, will be responsible for contract compliance, project planning integrity, timely delivery, maximizing return on investment, and facilitating effective project close-out.
Key Accountabilities
Facilitate the transfer of knowledge and lessons learned from the execution of previous Rig 1&2 to the planning and cost control team for building Rig 3&4.
Work closely with the legal and procurement teams to ensure adherence to contract requirements and specifications. Monitor subcontractors’ performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations, utilizing insights gained from previous projects.
Identify opportunities to maximize the return on investment by optimizing resources, minimizing costs, and improving efficiency. Provide regular reports on project performance, financial metrics, and key performance indicators, leveraging lessons learned from previous projects.
Prepare, review, and update the Project Schedule/s from bidding stage ‘till close-out stage.
Prepare regular Project performance reports and produce measures to support schedule progress.
Liaise with the Project Management Team on all relevant planning issues.
Prepare weekly / monthly Subcontract’s accruals for Labor, Materials, and Equipment.
Prepare weekly and monthly project budget, actual and forecast reports.
Prepare, review and update project earned value, cashflow and variance analysis reports.
Report any deviation recognized on the project schedule or budget and prepare recovery plan/s.
Initiate and maintain close liaison with all members of the Operations/ Administration team and Client rep.
Prepare Look Ahead reports based on the latest progress update and lead look ahead meetings.
Prepare and review the weekly and monthly reports for Internal and Clients.
Carry out schedule risk analysis as and when required. Maintain Risk Register
QUALIFICATIONS
Batchelor’s Engineering Degree or equivalent.
PMP Certificate preferable (but not essential).
Planning & Scheduling Professional (PSP) Certificate preferable.
EXPERIENCE
At least 9-15 years relevant experience in the industry. • Experience in S116E Mode
Onshore or Offshore project fabrication/ construction experience • (Rig / Lift boat / Ship Building / MRO).
Excellent knowledge in Primavera P6 (latest version) and MS Project
Excellent knowledge in MS Office (excel, word, power point etc.)
