JOB PURPOSE / OBJECTIVE

The position holder is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and strategic direction of the division. This role requires a deep understanding of fire protection systems, building codes, and industry standards. This job will oversee a team of engineers, technicians, and support staff to ensure the optimal performance and maintenance of fire protection systems across the IMI premises and stakeholder.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Develop and implement the division's strategic plan aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.

• Oversee the design and installation of fire protection systems, including fire alarms, sprinklers, and Fire Suppression System.

• Ensure compliance with all applicable fire safety codes, regulations, and standards. • Manage and develop a high-performing team of fire protection professionals.

• Collaborate with other departments to identify and mitigate fire risks.

• Conduct regular fire safety inspections and audits.

• Develop and implement fire prevention and emergency response plans.

• Manage the division's budget and resources effectively.

• Stay updated on the latest fire protection technologies and industry trends.

• Provide technical expertise and support to internal and external stakeholders.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with regulatory agencies and industry partners.

• Ability to identify fire system hazards to enhance the best practice and safety in various areas.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent.

• Fire and Safety Engineering Diploma (Additional).

Professional Qualifications

• Certificate from Saudi Council of Engineering Accreditation.

• OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) certification.

• Experience Certificate related Fire Engineer if Available.

Experience

• At least 9 -15 years of relevant experience or similar capacity.

Languages

• Excellent Communication Skills in English (oral & written).
