Job Purpose
The position holder is responsible for overseeing the contracts administration & financial operations of the FMSS organization. The position holder will lead procurement and financial control efforts, ensuring optimal resource allocation and cost-effective operations within the FMSS department. The position holder is responsible for overseeing the management and administration of contracts, as well as leading financial planning and analysis activities within FMSS function and support FMSS strategic decision-making through accurate financial planning and reporting.
Key Accountabilities
• Lead financial planning strategies, including budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial projections.
• Collaborate with department heads to develop annual operating budgets and financial forecasts and track actual financial results against budgeted targets, analyze variances, and provide explanations and recommendations to address deviations.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve cash flow forecasting, collections, and disbursements to support FMSS business operations.
• Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to implement risk management initiatives.
• Oversee internal and external audits, addressing audit findings and implementing recommendations.
• Contribute to the development of the organization's strategic plans, providing Commercial & Technical insights and recommendations.
• Managing bidding, Estimation, commercial & technical assurance.
• Development and management of a comprehensive management framework.
• Oversee contract negotiations and vendor management to ensure value and compliance.
• Facilitate and enforce policies and procedures for procurement and financial operations.
• Develop and implement strategic plans and objectives for facilities management strategies in alignment with the overall organizational goals.
• Manage the entire lifecycle of contracts, including negotiation, execution, renewal, and termination.
• Monitor contract performance and compliance, addressing any issues or disputes that arise.
• Monitor and manage financial risks and ensure alignment with FMSS financial objectives.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovation and efficiency in contract and financial management.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with contracts and financial planning.
Qualifications & Experience
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, supply chain or equivalent.
Experience:
At least 15- 20 years' experience and knowledge in finance operations and management in a related industry.
Languages:
Excellent command of English & Arabic (writing and speech).
