Job Purpose

The position is responsible for monitoring of all contracted recreation and welfare events/services in accordance with the contract including the management and monitoring of Service Operators and/or in-house self-delivery teams to ensure compliance with the specifications and drive a regime of continual improvement

Key Accountability
  • Ensure that all Service Providers are complying in a meaningful fashion with all the sections, clauses and requirements of their contracts.

  • Plan and organize annual community events as directed to foster and recognize cultural events for the residents.

  • Conduct audits and inspections in support of the Residential Facilities Manager.

  • Attend management meetings when requested or required.

  • Pro-active in the development and training of any direct reports.

  • Nurture good working relationships with the Service Operator

Qualifications & Experiences
  • Education:

Bachelor's degree in administration/management or related industry

  • Professional Qualifications:

Qualification/Certification within the Leisure Sector - preferred

  • Experience:

Requires minimum of 3-5 years' experience within the hospitality industry

Experienced in organizing of outdoor/indoor sporting events/tournaments

  • Languages:

Fluent spoken and written in English

  • Good leadership and management skills

  • Strong organizational skills, interpersonal skills and appositive attitude

  • Demonstrate proficiency in the Microsoft Office environment including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook, essential.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills

  • Great multi-tasking abilities and attention to detail

  • Able to walk around a large site in hot weather and access difficult areas for inspection.

  • Manual and physical dexterity needed to operate a computer keyboard with sufficient vision to read information appearing on computer display screen, in handwritten forms, and printed on paper.

  • Adequate hearing and verbal abilities to communicate effectively in person and by telephone.
