Job Purpose:

The position holder is responsible for creating and managing a yearly calendar of events and sponsorships that align with IMI's brand objectives and support business growth in the MENA region. This involves identifying relevant opportunities, setting clear objectives, budgeting, planning, and executing events, managing sponsorships, and evaluating performance to drive brand awareness and achieve desired outcomes.

Key Accountabilities & Working Relationships:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive events and sponsorship strategy aligned with IMI's brand objectives in the MENA region.

• Identify and evaluate relevant events and sponsorship opportunities to maximize brand exposure and support business growth.

• Create and manage a yearly calendar of events and sponsorships, including budgeting and resource allocation.

• Coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, and event management agencies to plan and execute successful events.

• Manage sponsorships and partnerships, including contract negotiation and fulfillment of sponsorship obligations.

• Monitor and evaluate the performance of events and sponsorships against defined objectives, analyzing metrics and providing recommendations for improvement.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with sponsors, stakeholders, and industry partners.

• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in event management and sponsorship to ensure innovative and effective strategies.

• Undertake any additional tasks as assigned by line manager and as per business needs.

Who we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Mass Communication, Marketing.

• Certification in the related field (CMP, CSEP, CGMP) is an advantage

• Good Negotiation Skills.

• Good Knowledge in Events and Sponsorship Management

• Supervisory Skills

• Excellent organizational skills, very good at planning and implementing projects.

• Must be able to identify problems and find solutions.

• Excellent customer services skills

• Computer proficiency with a strong technical aptitude

• Demonstrated team player orientation.

• Must be able to communicate professionally and possess excellent interpersonal skills.

At least 9-15 years of experience of relevant experience.

• Experience in event related trainings/corporate affairs and mentoring staff preferred

Excellent Communication Skills in Arabic and English (oral and written)
