Pipe Production Supervisor
  • The Pipe Production Department Foreman is responsible for leading and supervising a team of industrial workers engaged in pipe production activities in the shipbuilding process. They ensure the efficient and accurate production of pipes according to engineering specifications, quality standards, and project schedules. The Foreman plays a crucial role in coordinating resources, providing technical guidance, and maintaining a safe working environment. Their objective is to optimize pipe production processes, achieve high-quality standards, meet project deadlines, and contribute to the successful completion of shipbuilding projects. Additionally, the Foreman is responsible for promoting teamwork, training, and continuous improvement within the Pipe Production Department.

Key Accountabilities

1. Supervise and lead a team of industrial workers engaged in pipe production activities, such as cutting, bending, welding, and assembly.

2. Ensure compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards for pipe production.

3. Coordinate with the engineering department to clarify any uncertainties or issues related to pipe production tasks.

4. Assign tasks to industrial workers and monitor their progress to ensure timely completion.

5. Provide technical guidance and support to industrial workers, assisting with complex pipe production tasks and resolving technical issues.

6. Conduct regular inspections to ensure the quality and accuracy of pipe production, addressing any deviations or defects.

7. Collaborate with other departments, such as the design and installation teams, to ensure seamless integration of pipes into the shipbuilding process.

8. Maintain a safe working environment by enforcing safety protocols and promoting a culture of safety among industrial workers.

9. Train and mentor new industrial workers, providing guidance on pipe production techniques, equipment operation, and safety procedures.

10. Monitor and control inventory of pipe production materials and tools, ensuring an adequate supply for uninterrupted production.

Education
  • Diploma degree or equivalent (required); technical certifications or vocational training in pipe production processes (preferred).

Experience
  • Minimum 11-15 years of experience in shipbuildin

  • Proven experience in shipbuilding or a related industry, with a strong background in pipe production processes.
