Job Purpose

• Responsible for the accurate recording and reconciliation of financial transactions in the financial accounting system.
• A key player in the month end process to ensure the timely close you will work closely within the Finance organization and your core functional team. 
• Excellent relationships will be built and maintained with your peers in other departments to drive a culture of fiscal and commercial responsibility and to facilitate Financial knowledge transfer & acumen at all levels.

Key Accountabilities

• Prepares asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information
• Documents financial transactions by entering account information
• Recommends financial actions by analyzing accounting options
• Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports
• Substantiates financial transactions by auditing documents
• Maintains accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures
• Guides accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions
• Reconciles financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
• Maintains financial security by following internal controls
• Answers accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations
• Prepares special financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies
• Instrumental in the success of the month end process
  

Qualifications & Experience

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or Equivalent

• General Ledger and Finance reconciliation experience

• From 9-15 years of experience

• 5 years in a core Finance position within the Construction industry preferred.

• Processing transactional data

Languages

• Excellent Verbal and Written English

• Arabic Language (Spoken/Written) Will Be an Advantage
