Job Purpose / Objective
Growing financial performance through analysis of financial results, forecasts, variances, and trends. As well as being able to develop financial models to support valuation, planning, and forecasting in order to create recommendations to be presented to management and executives. It is also important to conduct comparable analysis and market research to support internal financial analysis. Reconciling existing transactions through cross-referencing of incoming and outgoing data is a key function a senior financial analyst should be able to practice. Also, maintaining up-to-date technical knowledge of financial instruments, market conditions, and trends.
Key Accountability
• Assist in performing financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking.
• Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support.
• Contribute to Report financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews.
• Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements.
• Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
• Contribute to cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures.
• Provide analysis of trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimization.
• analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; study proposed changes in methods and materials.
• Contribute to Identifying and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards.
• Contribute to Increasing productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools.
• Assist in performing market research, data mining, business intelligence, and valuation comps
• Assist in maintaining a strong financial analysis foundation creating forecasts and models.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel is mentioned in virtually any financial analyst job description; familiarity with data query/data management tools is extremely helpful (Access, SQL, Business Objects)

Qualifications & Experience
Education
Bachelors in Business, preferred Master’s degree in Banking, Insurance, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or related fields
Professional Qualifications
Professional Qualification in Banking, Insurance or Risk, Treasury. ACII, FCII, FRM, CTP, CFA
Experience
• 3-9 years’ work experience in treasury/cash management or banking field preferred
• Finance reconciliation experience
• Processing transactional data
Languages
• Fluent in English
• Fluent in Arabic is plus
