Job Purpose

The HVAC Engineer will be responsible for maintaining HVAC and mechanical systems to ensure optimal operation. This role involves performing inspection & troubleshooting of failure issues and monitoring day to activities in relation.

Key Accountabilities

• Contribute to the development and implementation of maintenance strategies and plans to optimize equipment performance and reduce downtime.

• Conduct regular maintenance and inspections of Mechanical & HVAC systems, diagnose problems, and implement solutions to ensure systems operate efficiently.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and effective execution of maintenance activities

• Implement energy-efficient designs and practices to reduce operational costs and environmental impact.

• Prepare and maintain detailed reports, specifications, and documentation.

• Provide technical support & best practices in addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to HVAC systems.

• Provide technical expertise and guidance to maintenance personnel on troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance procedures

• Analyze equipment failure data and propose solutions to improve reliability and minimize maintenance costs

• Review and update maintenance procedures, manuals, and guidelines to ensure compliance with industry standards.

• Participate in the selection and evaluation of vendors, contractors, and suppliers for maintenance-related services and equipment

• Leads the Mechanical Maintenance Technicians and ensures a high level of efficiency in the Team.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education:

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, HVAC Engineering, or a related field.

• Professional Qualifications

Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Office environment including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook.

• Competencies

Excellent Computer Skills (all MS suites) Excellent organizational and time-management skills, Integrity and confidentiality.

• Experience

Requires minimum of 3-8 years of experience in HVAC & Mechanical systems Maintenance.

• Languages

Excellent command of English (writing and speech).
