Job Purpose
The Planning and Control Supervisor for Maintenance will oversee the scheduling, coordination, and execution of maintenance activities to ensure optimal operational efficiency and minimal downtime. This role involves developing maintenance schedules, managing resources, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. The supervisor will work closely with maintenance technicians, engineers, help desk, services providers and other departments to achieve maintenance goals.
Key Accountabilities
Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance plans to ensure the reliability and longevity of equipment and facilities.
Prepare and present regular reports on maintenance activities, performance metrics, and areas for improvement to senior management.
Supervise, train, and develop maintenance staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and safety.
Liaise with other departments, such as production and engineering, to schedule maintenance activities that minimize disruption to operations.
Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
Manage maintenance budgets, controlling costs while ensuring high standards of maintenance are upheld.
Monitor and analyze maintenance performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
Oversee the creation, prioritization, and tracking of work orders, ensuring all maintenance activities are documented and tracked.
Coordinate the availability of necessary tools, parts, and personnel to carry out maintenance activities efficiently.
Create detailed maintenance schedules, assigning tasks to maintenance personnel, and ensuring timely completion of work.
Manages and supervises Hard services planning & Control staff to the standard operation procedure requirements.
Coordinates with Engineers and Supervisors to collate operation requirements of all work issues for Work Control.
Implements the application of CAFM utilization in accordance with the requirement of the project.
Ensures all operating systems are fully updated to the current working practices.
Develops systems of control for effective use of labor resources.
Develops performance indicators for effective monitoring of work measurement and safety.
Reviews safety requirements in sites and recommends improvement.
Qualifications & Experience
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Maintenance Management, or a related field.
Professional Qualifications:
Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Office environment including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project and Outlook.
Competencies:
Excellent Computer Skills (all MS suites) Excellent organizational and time-management skills, Integrity and confidentiality.
Experience:
At least 3-9 years' experience
Languages:
Excellent command of English (writing and speech).
