Your future role & Job Purpose
We are looking to hire Cost Specialist who will be responsible for but not limited to:
Financial Budgeting, Reporting, Business Planning & Performance for Assets Mgmt.& Capital Project function. Also, will be responsible to control and monitor project total expenditure including verifying and checking of invoices and claims from suppliers, vendors, and subcontractors to ensure that all project expenditures are captured and properly recorded.
Key Accountabilities & Working Relationships
Key Accountabilities:
Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking
Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support
Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews
Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements
Work closely with the Division Head, Planning and Budgeting, MMO to ensure accurate financial reporting
Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts
Guide the cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures
Provide analysis of trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimization
Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; study proposed changes in methods and materials
Development of financial plans including budgeting and forecasting for the short and long term.
Tracking & Controller oversees the day-to-day activities and ensures the company finance function is organized and efficient produces accurate financial and management accounts.
Generate Monthly, Quarterly and Annual cost and variance reports for stakeholders including developing supporting commentaries.

Who we are looking for
Education:
Bachelor of Business Administration – Finance, Accounting, Economic
Experience:
At least 3-9 years of business finance or other relevant experience
Competencies:
Excellent Computer Skills (all MS suites).
Organized and Methodical, planning.

Good Communicator.
Understanding of Asset Management & ERP systems, and ISO Standards.
