Job Purpose

The Warehousing and Store Specialist responsible for performing the warehousing and inventory management operations within the organization and ensuring efficient storage, organization, and distribution of goods and materials and managing inventory, coordinating deliveries, optimizing warehouse layout, and maintaining accurate records to support the organization's operational needs.

Key Accountabilities
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, including tracking stock levels, conducting regular stock checks, and reconciling discrepancies.

  • Monitor inventory turnover and implement strategies to optimize stock levels, reducing excess or obsolete inventory.

  • Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure timely replenishment of stock and availability of required materials.

  • Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods and materials in the warehouse.

  • Optimize warehouse layout and storage systems to maximize space utilization and operational efficiency.

  • Implement and enforce safety protocols and best practices to ensure a safe working environment.

  • Coordinate with internal departments to schedule and prioritize deliveries based on operational needs.

  • Liaise with suppliers, transport companies, and couriers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to warehouse operations, including receipts, invoices, and packing lists.

  • Generate reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and warehouse performance as required.

  • Ensure compliance with documentation requirements and record retention policies.

  • Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure the accuracy, integrity, and condition of stored goods and materials.

  • Conduct periodic inspections and audits to identify and address quality issues.

  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to resolve quality-related concerns or product non-conformities.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Education

Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Professional Qualifications

Certified Supply Chain Professional are highly desirable.

  • Experience

Minimum of 9 years' experience and knowledge in executing warehousing operations, preferably in a related industry.

  • Languages

Very Good command of Arabic & English
