To work closely together with the construction manager and the project team to ensure that all assigned projects are executed safely, on time, and within budget in accordance with the contract and International Maritime Industries Management System (IMIMS).

Ensure all assigned works are executed safely on time.

Ensure that all technical drawings and documentation, such as nesting drawing, production drawing and marking is followed.

Determining the appropriate pre-treatment equipment or method based on requirements.

When engaging in any activity, ensure that you have a valid work permit (Hot/Cold/Isolation, etc.).

Attend safety and daily toolbox meetings and under the risk involved with the job.

Perform the pretreatment according to the operating manual and following the regulation.

Monitor materials usage to ensure possible shortages are identified and addressed at the earliest possible opportunity.

Ability and follow pre-treatment preparations and examine finished pre-treatment and ensure they meet standards for excellence.

Inspect the equipment and machinery they use while performing their job and maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety.

Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental and Security (HSES) responsibilities.

Diploma degree or equivalent qualification

At least 12 to 15 years’ experience in the Offshore and Ship Construction, Shipyard/Ship repair Industry.

Knowledge and Experience in using pre-treatment equipment or machinery, Inspecting materials, pre-treatment equipment and tools.

Understanding of various pre-treatment processes, mark symbols, production drawing as well as equipment operations.
