Your future role & Job Purpose:
We are looking to hire Head Of Protocols who
Will be responsible for developing and implementing protocols business process and frame work for VVIP and delegate visits during internal and external events, press conference activities, and international visits involving CEO and C – Suite management. The Head of Protocols will collaborate with various teams, including event management, security, public relations, and executive administration, to create a seamless and professional experience for VVIPs, delegates, and senior executives.
Key Accountabilities:
The Head Of Protocols, will be responsible for but not limited to:
Design and document protocols and guidelines for VVIP and delegate visits, both internal and external.
Establish a standard operating procedure for visit planning, including pre-visit preparations, scheduling, logistics, and post-visit follow-up.
Build and maintain positive relationships with diplomatic representatives, government officials, and other stakeholders involved in VVIP and delegate visits.
Familiarize oneself with diplomatic protocols, cultural sensitivities, and etiquette to ensure respectful and appropriate treatment of visitors.
Provide guidance and training to staff members on diplomatic protocols and cultural awareness.
Ensure protocols align with organizational policies, cultural sensitivities, and diplomatic norms.
Collaborate with event management teams to plan and execute VVIP visits during internal and external events, press conferences, and other activities.
Liaise with vendors, suppliers, and service providers to ensure seamless execution of visit logistics.
Regularly review and evaluate the effectiveness of existing protocols and visit procedures.
Collect feedback from stakeholders, including VVIPs, delegates, and internal teams, to identify areas for improvement.
Propose and implement enhancements to protocols, processes, and systems to optimize visit management.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in event management and sponsorship to ensure innovative and effective strategies.
Undertake any additional tasks as assigned by line manager and as per business needs.
Who we are looking for:
Experience: At least 9-15 years of experience in similar capacity or industry.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Mass Communication, Marketing.
Competencies (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
Good Communication Skills.
Good Negotiation Skills.
Good Knowledge in Events and Protocols management
Accountability - Commits to business objectives. Accepts responsibility & takes action.
Decision making & team working, and ability to work under pressure
