Your future role:

IMI is looking to hire a professional Senior Sourcing Engineer to Lead the efforts in exploring, initiating, developing, and validating opportunities in supply chain management, quality improvements, cost savings and other sourcing related opportunities

Primary Accountabilities:

• Develop and implement IMI’s material and services sourcing strategies, policies, and procedures in conjunction with
all concerned personnel.
• Identify and evaluate strategic suppliers for all the identified goods and services categories.
• Categorize Goods and services to ensure the optimum segmentation of the Supply Chain
• Develop Suppliers selection criteria based on IMI business strategies to develop an approved supplier list that
provides competitive advantage in quality, value/cost, delivery, and technology.
• Use project management skills and tools to investigate alternate component technologies for improved quality and
reliability and implement changes.
• Develop baseline/ current spend analysis to determine the appropriate sourcing strategy.
• Conduct market assessment of suppliers and their supply chain.
• Monitor business trends and product availability to pay the best price for materials without sacrificing quality or
delivery times.
• Analyse and interpret market conditions, trends, and data to identify market opportunities.
• Identify opportunities to enhance business performance through improved analytics and reporting

Who we are looking for:

• Bachelor University Degree in related Engineering Disciplines.

• Certification in SCM/PMP or related professional certification.

• Minimum 9-15 years’ experience in the related field.

• Excellent Analytical and problem-solving Skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Application.

• Good Interpersonal Skills.
