Your future role & Job Purpose:
We are looking to hire Senior Specialist, Business Resilience I, II
As a Senior Specialist in Business Resilience, the main responsibilities include overseeing risk management, business continuity and crisis management tasks, ensuring that all relevant models and controls are operating effectively. Along with that, you would play a crucial role in developing risk models and models for business continuity and crisis management, considering all the relevant risk areas for the Company's business. The role requires excellent quantitative and analytical skills, which can be applied to a variety of business processes. Additionally, the job holder would be required to conduct research and analytical analysis while providing support to the Company's leadership team and relevant stakeholders on matters related to risk management, business continuity, and crisis management roles and responsibilities. Ultimately, the job holder work would contribute to building a more resilient and sustainable business for the Company.
Key Accountabilities:
The Senior Specialist, Business Resilience I, II, will be responsible for but not limited to:
• Lead the design and implementation of an overall risk, business continuity, and crisis management framework for the organization, conducting a comprehensive impact analysis on the company's operations.
• Conduct a thorough risk assessment, analyzing current risks, business continuity, and crisis management requirements to identify potential gaps and challenges that are affecting the company at a strategic level
• Evaluate the company's previous handling of risks, business continuity, and crisis management requirements against criteria set by the company's leadership team and develop a roadmap for improvement in response to identified gaps.
• Establish appetites and thresholds for the company's risks, business continuity, and crisis management areas in collaboration with senior leadership to drive a unified approach to risk management.
• Contribute to the development of comprehensive reporting on risks, business continuity, and crisis management, ensuring updates are tailored to the relevant audiences within the organization, including senior leadership, department heads, and individual employees.
• Drive external communication of risk, business continuity, and crisis management issues to stakeholders and regulatory bodies in alignment with corporate governance guidelines.
• Act as a primary liaison with all functions/ departments to create treatment plans that effectively limit risks, promote business continuity, and establish robust crisis management systems across the organization
Who we are looking for:
Experience: 9-15 years of relevant experience
Education: Bachelor’s Degree, in Engineering, Project Management, Economics MIS, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent.
