Your future role & Job Purpose:
We are looking to hire Senior Specialist, Strategic Planning I, II
who will be responsible for aligning individual work and outputs with the overall strategic direction of the organization, collecting, and preparing weekly internal and external highlights, developing a concise strategy map for effective communication of objectives, and evaluating growth and investment plans to overcome challenges and achieve expansion goals. They also manage and facilitate strategic planning sessions, provide support in strategic planning and execution, and oversee business interactions with investors, government entities, and third parties. Overall, the Senior Specialist plays a vital role in ensuring the success and competitiveness of the organization.
Key Accountabilities:
• Ensure that all strategy documentation and presentations are compliant with IMI reporting guidelines.
• Develop tactical strategies that align with the overall IMI strategy.
• Establish technical and professional policies, practices, procedures, and standards.
• Identify and foster business synergy both internally and externally. • Interpret and integrate macroeconomic, industry, and socio-political inputs into strategy preparation and internal discussions to drive business performance.
• Lead the integration of risk analysis methods, such as decision tree, sensitivity, and scenario analysis, into economic evaluations.
• Recommend strategic choices based on analysis.
• Conduct SWOT analysis to assess the Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats related to business competition or project planning.
• Provide support and guidance in strategic planning and execution.
•Support the management of budgeting, accountability, planning, and activities execution of the Corporate Planning function.
Who we are looking for:
Experience: 9-15 years of relevant experience
Education: Bachelor’s Degree or MSc, in Engineering, Project Management, Economics MIS, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent.
