JOB PURPOSE / OBJECTIVE
Summary of the main purpose of the job as the basic function and scope of the job in terms of organization, geographic areas supported, financial or other volume/size metrics, strategic impact and nature of supervision received or exercised related to the job in a descriptive manner.
Evaluating, analyzing, designing, engineering, implementing, and monitoring security solutions that shall provide maximum level of protection and security. Identifying and defining system security requirements and specifications based on studying the current situation and conducting the required risk assessments..
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
1-Strong understanding for High Commission for Industrial Security Directives (HCIS) version 2010 and 2017.
2. Evaluating, analyzing security concerns and design the required counter-measure solutions.
3. Confirms Security systems’ and components' capabilities against local and international standards.
4. Evaluates and assures Security systems operational reliability.
5. Conducting security risk assessments.
6. Prepares various types of security related reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
7. Provides engineering insights in equipment selection with adequate attention towards compatibility with other systems.
8. Maintains consistency of security systems, requests, and follows up with maintenance supervisor.
9. Establishes preventative maintenance schedules to various systems and equipment per manufacturer recommendations.
10. Coaching, training, and guiding technicians.
11.Having experience in the security systems such as ACS, IDAS, IDMS, VMSS and VMS in addition to security physical equipment’s such as crash barrier, drop raising arm barrier, turnstiles, x-ray machine, explosive detector, walkthrough detector and crash rated barrier.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor of Electrical Engineering, information technology, electronics or equivalent.
