Hob Purpose / Objective

• Elevator Maintenance Technician is responsible to safely, timely and cost-effectively lead the performance of
  all Elevators checks and repairs as per the highest safety and quality standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Adhere to regulations, quality, security, and safety standards
• Carry out inspection, breakdown repair and preventive maintenance duties on Elevators within IMI yard
• Coordinate efforts with company’s contracted elevator vendors to ensure company elevation systems are
  functioning perfectly
• Participate in developing elevators’ maintenance plans including reactive, predictive and preventive ones
• Periodically evaluate the effectiveness of elevators’ preventive maintenance and recommend changes
• Enter adequate repair history into IFS
• Assist in quantifying and ordering elevator parts as required
• Providing technical direction and on‐the‐job training to young technicians
• Supervise, ensure, and control quality of contractor when maintaining elevators
• Develop development tasks related to elevators’ maintenance for young technicians

Experience

• Minimum of seven (7) years of hands-on experience in Elevator Maintenance.

Qualifications

• Technical Diploma in Elevators’ Maintenance, Electrical or Mechanical
• Must have a working knowledge of OSHA and/or NEBOSH standards and
  practices
• Excellent Computer Skills in MS Office
