Your future role & Job Purpose

We are looking to hire 2 Senior Expeditor - for PSCM

The Sr. Expeditor is responsible for expediting assigned purchase orders to ensure all requirements specified in the purchase order are accomplished including document delivery, efficient coordination, inspections and on time delivery.

Key Accountabilities

The Senior Expeditor, will be responsible for but not limited to:

  1. Expediting new, missing, or returned documents/drawings from Suppliers/contractors and Engineering/Operations.
  2. Participating in project meetings to provide updates and status of materials/services flow.
  3. Providing detailed updates to all stakeholders on the status of supplier/contractor document submittals.
  4. Providing timely information and support to internal and external stakeholders.
  5. Identifying disruptions in the supplier/contractor submission and delivery schedules Through regular communication with assigned suppliers, ensure the latest delivery information is kept up to date and relayed to the Project Team and updated in project schedule.
  6. Coordinate with IMI warehouse/project team to ensure GRN/SES is completed and posted in ERP system.
  7. Coordinate between supplier/contractor and IMI Finance team to ensure 
  8. Verifies/reviews, makes necessary copies, prepare transmittal letters and forwards to Logistics Team.
  9. Assists suppliers of C&F – DDP purchase order to prepare the shipping documents through Logistics team, assists & supports freight forwarding with the exemption description, documentation preparation.
  10. Support the Logistics team to prepare the required formalities to apply for import permits from ministry of industry/ customs, ministry of interior, and from health, if required.
  11. Keeps records for the customs exemptions and make sure it is up to date by coordination with Logistics team.
  12. Fulfilling additional responsibilities and misc. expediting functions as required to support the Project
