Pipe Fabricator

• Ensure all structural and outfitting project works are executed safely on time.
• Can read and understand fabrication drawings, thickness gauging reports, WPS, ITP, PRQ, written and verbal instructions.
• Responsible for steel removal, repair, nesting/prefabrication, installation (Fit up), panel/block erection, testing of Structural and outfitting (foundations, ladders, I beam, handrails, bulkheads, and frames, and braces, etc.,) project works.
• When engaging in any activity, ensure that to have a valid work permit (Hot/Cold/Isolation/TRA/JSA etc.) and attend safety and daily toolbox meetings.

• Verifying dimensions, measurements, cutting and plate edge preparation for welding and handle different machines like steel cutting machines, plate bending machines, bevel cutting machines, electrical or manual tools.

• Able to handle the steel repair works on the deformation plates/bulkheads/Pitting etc.,
• Monitor materials usage to ensure possible shortages are identified and addressed at the earliest possible opportunity.
• Inspect the equipment and tools they use while performing their job and maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental and Security (HSES) responsibilities.

• Ensure all assigned piping project works are executed safely on time.
• Can read and understand isometric drawings, P&ID’s sketches, WPS, ITP, PRQ, written and verbal instructions.
• Responsible for removal, repair, prefabrication, installation, testing of piping, valves, pipe supports and its associated project works.
• Able to work with a variety of pipe sizes and schedule/material grades.
• Inspect the equipment and tools, consumables they use while performing their job and maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety.
• When engaging in any activity, ensure that to have a valid work permit (Hot/Cold/Isolation/TRA/JSA etc.) and attend safety and daily toolbox meetings.

• Good oral communication skills in English.
• Can read and understand fabrication shop drawings, WPS, ITP, PRQ, written and verbal instructions.
• Experience in using steel cutting machines, plate bending machines, bevel cutting machines, electrical or manual tools.
• Using roll bending machines and presses to form and shape plates and sections.
• Good knowledge in construction safety and permit to work procedures including quality issues.
• Knowledge on Preheating/ post heating and NDT procedures.
• Knowledge on Material test certificate & Material traceability report.

Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (such as face- shield, gloves etc.,)

• Good oral communication skills in English.
• Can perform work from piping drawings, sketches, written, and verbal instructions.
• Knowledge on different kind of pipe fitting, flanges, gaskets, reducers, elbows, adaptors, couplings etc.,
• Knowledge on Fit up/ Welding Process/ Preheating/ post heating and NDT procedures.
• Knowledge on Repair work on the deformation plates/bulkheads/Pitting etc.,
• Knowledge on Material test certificate & Material traceability report.
• Experience in using pipe cutting equipment, alignment tools, electrical or manual tools.
• Good knowledge in construction safety and permit to work procedures including quality issues.
• Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (such as face- shield, gloves etc.,)
