Your future role & Job Purpose
We are looking to hire Senior Financial Advisor, who will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Senior Financial Advisor is responsible for reviewing and monitoring the periodic budgets, performing routine analysis of financial data. He/she is also responsible for developing performance improvements plan based on business objectives and identify business operational areas that need improvements and propose appropriate action plans.
Key Accountabilities
- Review Board Material (Documents / Presentations) for management and stakeholders on quarterly basis.
- Reviews and comments on risks management and operations – Insurance, Hedging, Legal structure, EPC contracting, Cash forecasting, Payments for appropriate control.
- Reviews and comments on financial indicators such as IRR (Internal Rate of Returns), Payback period, NPV (Net Present Value), ROI (Return on Investments) and others are at sufficient levels to attract investors and lender
- Provide support in project planning, budget preparation, resource management, time management, and risk management activities.
- Reviews ERP business applications, recommends more functionalities and Applications to be implemented to support business plans and strategies.
- Determine key metrics of performance and prepare forecasts for various designs and prepare reports for senior management.
- Review progress against plans and budgets to recommend changes if necessary.
- Review and recommend improvements to existing business programs.
- Work with management to develop and implement performance improvement initiatives.
- Administer various strategies and ensure achievement of all business objectives and within timeframe and project deadline.
- Assess business challenges and risks and develop mitigation plans.
- Identify knowledge gaps and conduct appropriate trainings for professional growth.
- Analyzes and reviews proposals for any system related to financial methods, policies, and procedures; recommends improvements.
Who we are looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in finance from a recognized and approved program. Minors in Accounting or Statistics desirable. A Master's Degree is preferred.
- 18+ years minimum combined project finance & Planning and performance experience in both a major corporations and international mining company
