IMI is looking to hire a professional to lead the efforts of suppliers pre-qualification process aimed at developing IMI Approved Suppliers List (ASL). The individual in this role acts as both the technical and the business interface between suppliers and IMI’s HSEQ, Engineering, Operation and other related Functions.

Your responsibilities

 

The Suppliers Relations Analyst I is expected to be accountable for the following areas:

• Develop and implement supplier selection and pre-qualification criteria based on IMI business strategies to develop an approved supplier list that provides competitive advantage in quality, value/cost, delivery, and technology.
• Develop and work with the ERP team to ensure that PSCM requirements related to the supplier portal are implemented.
• Develop, implement and update all the suppliers' relevant policies, procedures and processes (relationship management, performance appraisal …etc.) 
• Communicating strategic information with key suppliers in order to enable them to provide better goods and services. 
• Categorize Goods and services to ensure the optimum segmentation of the Supply Chain
• Segmenting Suppliers according to the importance of the provided goods and services.

Who we are looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering or closely related degree.
• Minimum 4 years experience.
• Fluent in both Arabic and English.
