Your future role & Job Purpose:

We are looking to hire Zakat and Tax Management Professional (Mid to Senior Level) to handle full cycle of Zakat and Tax Management who will be responsible for but not limited to:

  • From the operational financial accounting function lead Tax compliance and corporate governance as listed in primary accountabilities in accordance with the Financial Framework & Governance policy.
  • Responsible for submitting accurate Taxation returns within deadline.
  • Excellent relationships will be built and maintained with all stakeholders to drive a culture of fiscal and commercial responsibility and to facilitate Financial knowledge transfer & acumen at all levels
Key Accountabilities & Working Relations:

Key Accountabilities:

Taxation

  • Implement, embed and ensure Taxation is accounted for correctly, returns submitted to      Government Organizations within deadlines
  • Being the Champion for VAT across the business

Corporate Governance

  • Implement, embed and maintain the financial framework & governance policies and procedures
  • Ensure appropriate controls are implemented to ensure compliance while supporting business requirements and adhering to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)

Tax Planning

  • Ensuring Tax planning is incorporated in the Business Planning and Performance Management Process
  • Lead with contract reviews from Taxation advisory perspective.

Working Relations: Internal Interactions:

  • Government Authorities
  • Government Auditors

 

Who we are looking for:
  • Finance Degree or Equivalent Degree
  • Relevant professional certification is a plus
  • Relevant years post qualification in a core Taxation position
  • Relevant experience in JVs or startup business is a plus
  • Excellent Verbal and Written English
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload
  • A positive, “can do” attitude
  • Outstanding communications and interpersonal skills.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office
