Your future role
To support the development of the overall strategy of category management and demand planning. The individual in this role is expected to perform spend & category analysis and work closely with all internal stakeholders to capture their demand and develop planning strategies accordingly.
Primary Accountabilities
- Develop, implement, and update all polices, strategies, procedures and process related to category management.
- Develop and work with the ERP team to ensure that PSCM requirements related to category management & demand planning is implemented.
- Categorize Goods and services to ensure the optimum segmentation of the supply chain and the classification of suppliers according to the importance of their portfolio of goods and services.
- Develop baseline/ current spend & category analysis to determine the appropriate category strategy.
- Communicate with all internal stakeholders to ensure capturing accurate forecasting to their materials/services requirements.
- Analyze and interpret market conditions, trends and data to identify market opportunities.
Who we are looking for
- Bachelor University Degree.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Category Management Association Certification considered a plus
- Fluent in both English and Arabic.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills
- Negotiation Skills.
- Presentation Skills.
- Analytical, quantitative and Problem-Solving Skills
- Previous experience working with ERP systems.
- Microsoft Office.
- Expert in Microsoft Excel.
