Your future role:

IMI are looking to hire Project Control Advisors who will be responsible for working within all stages of project management monitoring. The primary role is to work closely with the allocated project team to ensure that all budgeting, scheduling and coordination processes run smoothly. You will monitor the progress of a project to ensure that it is working within the confines of set deadlines and budget limitations and generate progress reports to senior manager. 

  • The Project Control Advisor will support the Project Control team in the evaluation of the actual position of the project, compares the actual state with the desired state, and assist in the corrective actions if required.
  • The primary role of the Project Control Advisor is to track and coordinate the progress of the project on a day-to-day basis to ensure that the project is on-track and reports gaps, risks and assessment to the Sr. Management. In addition, he assists with all related duties for risk management
Your responsibilities:
• Coordinate with project controls team members and be able to implement the project controls policies and procedures in line with the Company’s project control guidelines.
• Participate in project control meetings and propose improvements if necessary.
• Evaluate potential problems and technical hitches and develop solutions.
• Deliver team goals, project schedules and new information.
• Interface with ongoing projects and coordinate all team members to keep workflow on track.
• Manage project related paperwork by ensuring all necessary materials are current, properly filed and stored.
• Direct project correspondences by preparing and reviewing project proposals, memos, meeting minutes and emails.
• Support and coordinate project management through analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
• Assist in minimizing company commercial risk through accountability of major project decisions.
• Evaluate budgets and schedules to conform to Company’s and project requirements.
• Prepare and compile input from team members and various weekly reports.
• Monitor project execution to achieve maximum effectiveness for international and domestic projects.
• Oversee and report performance and progress through analytical techniques to validate cost and performance.


Who we are looking for:
  • 3 + years in Project Control Team Experience in Infrastructure, Construction, or Marine, Shipping and Offshore Vehicle Construction is highly desirable.
  • Min. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
  • KSA Nationals will be prioritised for this role
