(hereinafter “International Maritime Industries Co. ”, “We” or “Us”) informs you how we process your personal data. This Policy covers any personal information you submit our online job search tool as part of the job application or job search process that includes without limitation:

  • Name, address, telephone number, email address, other contact information;
  • Log-in and password;
  • CV, résumé, cover letter, previous work experience/history including salary and allowance, education, transcripts and other required attachments (passport copy, passport-size photograph, etc.)
  • Employment preferences, willingness to relocate, desired salary, marital status and family information;
  • Results of your assessments, if applicable
  • Information relating to references.

    If you intend to provide us with details of a reference or any other third party as part of your CV/ résumé, it is your responsibility to obtain consent from that third party prior to passing their personal information to us.

    You are responsible for the content of the information you provide to us either directly or indirectly through an agent and you must ensure it is legal, honest, truthful, accurate and not misleading in any way. You must ensure that the information provided by you does not contain material that is obscene, blasphemous, defamatory, infringing on any rights of any third party, or otherwise legally actionable by such third party.


    2.2. Purpose of our Processing of your Personal Data

    We use your Personal Data for purposes related to your job application:

  • To assess your capabilities and qualifications for a job and potentially contact you about the position:
  • To conduct reference checks;
  • To develop questionnaires and interview scenarios;
  • To conduct background checks if you are offered a job;
  • To use as a reference data for future candidate if you are offered a job;
  • To create and submit reports as required by law or regulation
  • To contact you about career opportunities.


    The provision of certain of your Personal Data is a requirement necessary to assess your job application. This means that you must provide these Personal Data to Us. The compulsory fields are marked with an asterisk. The consequence if you do not provide information to the compulsory fields is that We will not be able to assess your job application.

    We do not make any automated decisions solely on automatic processing, including profiling, which produces legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affects you.

    If you become an employee, any personal information that you submit may become a part of your file and may be used for other employment/work-related purposes.


    3. Transfer of Personal Data to Third Parties

    We may provide your Personal Data to the  Relevant departments of the company and the company’s affiliates \ subsidiaries companies within the International Maritime Industries Co. .

    We will make our best effort to keep your data confidential however; we may communicate your Personal Data to third parties if needed, such as but not limited to: external providers involved in the recruitment process as well and third-party services providers of the information system that require access to the data within the system to provide such services.

5. Law Applicable to Job Application

Our websites allow you to apply for jobs based in countries (or territories) other than the country where you are resident or from which you make your application. Job opportunities posted on our websites will be governed by the laws of the country where the job is located. By applying for a job through the International Maritime Industries Co.  or any of its subsidiaries or affiliates, you accept that (i) the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia will have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from your application; (ii) the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia shall apply to your application; and (iii) the International Maritime Industries Co. , including the local entities in the country you submitted your application from, is not responsible or liable for the prerequisites or limitations your application is subject to under the laws of Saudi Arabia.

This Policy is not intended for distribution to, or use by, any person or entity in any jurisdiction or country where such distribution or use would be contrary to local law or regulation.



6. Changes to this Policy

We may change this Policy from time to time. All changes to this Policy are effective after they are initially posted on our website. If you do not agree to the changes, please contact us to deactivate your account. You can always tell when we have last updated the Policy by checking in the “Last Updated” line at the beginning of this Policy.


7. Statement

I understand that any information provided to the International Maritime Industries Co. , may be reviewed by the International Maritime Industries Co.  personnel. I further understand and agree that these representatives may share this information with others on a need-to-know basis including, but not limited to, sharing it with hiring managers considering you for employment.

I understand that any falsification, misrepresentation, misleading statements, or omissions of fact on either my submitted material or during the pre-hire process will be sufficient reason for my not being offered employment. I also understand that the International Maritime Industries Co.  will also view discrepancies between my resume and the information provided on the application form as sufficient reason for my not being offered employment.

I understand that no time spent in obtaining a position with the International Maritime Industries Co. , whether presently employed or in the process of becoming employed, is compensable.
